LAFAYETTE, La. -- The University of the Incarnate Word women's tennis team fell, 5-2, to the University of Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday afternoon at Cajun Courts.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
Louisiana-Lafayette took the doubles point to open the competition and then secured three more points with wins on courts four, one, and six. Brandelyn Fulgenzi defeated Dana Radovanocic (3-6, 7-6 (8-6), 6-3) on court two for UIW's first point of the match. Court three also saw a Cardinal victory, with Victoria Kareh besting Hoda Habib, 7-6 (7-4), 3-6, 7-6 (9-7).
 
UP NEXT
The Cardinals travel to Houston to take on the Cougars in a 1 p.m. (CT) contest on Sunday at the Winston Tennis Facility.
