SAN ANTONIO--The University of the Incarnate Word men's soccer team hosts the University of Central Arkansas in its home opener on Friday at 7 p.m. (CT) at Benson Stadium.

- Carlos Mercado has nine saves and has started in all three games for the Cardinals.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
- UCA's record is now 2-1 after a 3-0 win against Central Baptist College on Sept. 3.
- Niklas Brodacki leads the Bears with 12 shots, including eight shots on goal.
- Marc Olsen has seven saves, starting in all three games for the Bears.
