Men's soccer heads to Colorado to face Air Force
U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colorado--
The University of the Incarnate Word men's soccer team travels to Colorado on Thursday, facing the U.S. Air Force Academy at 8 p.m. (CT) at the Cadet Soccer Stadium.
THE GAME
THE CARDINALS
- Carlos Mercado leads the team with 19 saves, four of which were accumulated on Sunday against Grand Canyon.
- Carlos Guerrero has a team-high 14 shots, including six shots on goal.
- UIW's record is now 0-6-1 following 1-0 loss to GCU on Sunday.
SCOUTING THE FALCONS
- Air Force's record is now 8-1 after a 4-1 win over UMKC on Saturday.
- Andrea Seazzu leads the team with 22 saves.
- Austin Dewing has a team-high six goals; he has 17 shots, including 12 shots on goal.
UP NEXT
The Cardinals travel to Utah to face Utah Valley on Saturday. Kickoff is slated for 8 p.m. (CT) at Clyde Field.
