SAN ANTONIO -- The University of the Incarnate Word women's soccer team hosts Nicholls on Friday night it its Southland Conference opener. The game is set to kick off at 5 p.m. (CT) at Benson Stadium.

·       Freshman Cloe Morales scored her first career goal, also against PVAMU.

·       UIW racked up 12 shots with six on goal against PVAMU.

·       Nicholls is coming off a 0-2 loss against Southern Miss on Sept. 9.

·       The Colonels have an 0-1 away record on the season.

·       Nicholls' last two contests have either been postponed (against Lamar, Sept. 14), or canceled (against Southern, Sept. 16).
