FRISCO, Texas -- The University of the Incarnate Word football game against McNeese State on Oct. 20 will be broadcast on Eleven Sports, announced the Southland Conference on Monday. The game, originally scheduled for 4 p.m. (CT), will now kick off at 6 p.m.
 
The announcement comes after the Cardinals defeated Southeastern Louisiana (52-34) on Oct. 6 to move to 3-0 in SLC action. This will be UIW's first home game on national television in the 2018 season. The Cardinals have appeared on ESPN+ in two games thus far and will face Lamar on ESPN+ on Saturday.
 
The athletics department is planning a special event, to be announced at a later date, for the contest against McNeese to celebrate the partnership the UIW campus has with the Alamo Heights community.
