Men's soccer falls to HBU
SAN ANTONIO-- The University of the Incarnate Word men's soccer team fell, 1-0, to Houston Baptist on Friday night at Benson Stadium.
HOW IT HAPPENED
FIRST HALF:
The Wolverines lead the offensive attack with seven shots in the first half, while the Cardinals countered with three shots. The Wolverines took the lead with a goal in the 34th minute, putting the score at 1-0 in favor of HBU.
SECOND HALF:
The Cardinals were able to slow down the Wolverines in the second half, not allowing them to score for the rest of the match.
LEADERS
- Rob Lemmens lead UIW with three shots, including two shots on goal.
- Jorge Guzman lead UIW with four saves.
- Josue Palomino lead HBU with two shots on goal.
