Synchro Finishes Season in Ohio

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The University of the Incarnate Word women's synchronized swimming team closed out their season at the U.S. Collegiate Championships in Ohio this past weekend finishing in fourth place overall.
 

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Cardinals finished in fourth place overall, just missing third place by three points. They placed fourth in the solo routines by Camille Guerre, fifth and sixth in duets by Sarah Rodriguez and Madeline Walker-Byron and Camille Guerre and Beatriz Regly, and sixth in the trio routines by Beatriz Regly, Sarah Rodriguez, and Natalia Vega.
 

STAY TUNED
This concludes the season for the Cardinals, but they will resume practice in the fall and welcome new freshman teammates as they send off two seniors, Emilee Wills and Helena Fedorenko.
