TULSA, OKLAHOMA—The University of the Incarnate Word men's soccer team will look for revenge as they face Oral Roberts on Friday at 7:00 p.m. after losing their previous meeting this season. Then they will stay on the road and face Central Arkansas Sunday at noon.

UIW and Oral Roberts faced each other in the first game of the 2016 season at UIW. Oral Roberts won that game 2-0 in a very physical and heated game. Four yellow cards were given in the game, and each team had a player receive a red card. The two goals were scored by Matthew Rogers and Isaac Fraley and both came from set pieces.

The Cardinals (0-4) have struggled in the beginning of the season while facing tough opponents, including SMU, who was ranked #12 in the nation at the time of their matchup. Also, their last two losses have been 1-0. Robert Pratt (Tonbridge, Eng/Haberdasher Askes Knights Academy) and Ben Conway (Wigan, Eng/Hawkley Hall) have been the top creators for the Cardinal offense. They both have six shots apiece, while neither them nor the team has scored this season.

The Golden Eagles (2-2) won their first two games of the season, but lost their next two. They lost 1-0 at Gonzaga and 4-2 at Washington. For the season, they have scored six goals in four games and all goals have come from a different player. Santiago Riveros is one of the scorers, but his three assists make him the leader in points on the team with five. He also leads the team with six shots on the year, while Alex Harris' three are second on the team.

Central Arkansas (2-1) is coming off a 3-1 loss to Georgia State last Sunday. They host Houston Baptist Friday night, before their matchup against the Cardinals on Sunday. In their two wins this season, they have outscored their opponents 9-0. Niklas Brodacki leads the team with four goals, and Wes Carson has scored three times.
