SAN ANTONIO, Texas – A beautiful goal by
Ronan Fournier in the 81

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Cardinals (3-5-2, 1-1-1 WAC) gave up an early goal to the Rebels (4-9, 2-2 WAC) in the first half. Adam Musovski beat the UIW goalie off of a corner kick and gave UNLV a 1-0 lead with his first goal of the season. The Cardinals responded in the 35
th minute when
O'Neal Moore crossed a ball into the box and found
Ryan Osborne who was there to head it in to tie it with his second goal in two games.
The game remained evenly matched throughout the afternoon. Both teams were closely matched with shots. UIW took 11 shots, while UNLV shot 10 times. It wasn't until the 81

Ben Conway and bent a beautiful ball to the far post and beat a diving Enrique Adame—UNLV keeper—to give the Cardinals their first WAC game of the year.
