SAN ANTONIO, Tx – The University of the Incarnate Word men's soccer team will look to get back on the win column as they host a pair of Western Athletic Conference games this week. They start with a 7 p.m. start on Thursday against the University of Missouri-Kansas City and end the weekend against the University of Nevada at Las Vegas on Sunday at noon, both games at Benson Stadium.
OPENING KICK
The Cardinals (2-5-1, 0-1 WAC) started conference play last Sunday against Air Force and lost at home 4-2 in a hard fought battle. They were down 3-0 at halftime but came out strong in the second half and cut the lead down to 3-2 before Air Force scored their fourth goal to put it out of reach.

Both games were at home, where they are 3-3 but they are only 1-4 on the road this year. Their only win on the road came against VCU, when they won 2-1 in double overtime.
