TULSA, OKLAHOMA – The University of the Incarnate Word men's soccer team has a rematch with Oral Roberts University on Tuesday at 6 p.m. on the road.

The Golden Eagles (3-3-1) clipped the Cardinals (1-5), 2-1 on September 7 behind a pair of second half goals.  UIW held the lead until halftime and a Gerardo Salas goal tied the game in the opening minutes of the second half.  Then, Juan Diego Padilla scored on a quick counter-attack in the 86^th minute to win it for ORU.

The Cardinals attempted 12 more shots than the Golden Eagles that day, but ORU has been a team that excels in close games going 3-0-1 in games decided by one goal or less and they are 2-0-1 in overtime games.  Johnny Chavez is the top scorer for the Golden Eagles with four goals and as assist.  Ben LaCourse has played all 670 minutes in goal for the team and has 37 saves to go with a 2.01 goals against average.

The Cardinals have been off for over a week, but they hope to take some momentum with them after defeating Oakland University last week, 2-1 in overtime.  UIW is allowing 1.5 goals per game, but have managed to score just five times on the year with Noah Keats tallying a pair of goals.  Kieran O'Boyle has been the main goalkeeper starting five of six contests and sporting a 1.58 goals against average.

This is the final game for the Cardinals before they begin their inaugural season in the Western Athletic Conference.
