SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – The University of the Incarnate Word women's basketball team plays a pair of games at the UTSA Thanksgiving Classic this weekend. They play Fordham on Friday at noon and UTSA on Sunday at 4:30 p.m.

The Fordham University Rams are 3-2 and have won their last three games. Emily Tapio leads the team with 14.8 points per game on 54.8 percent shooting from the field. She averages 5.6 rebounds per game and leads the team in steals and blocks. The team averages 52.6 points per game and is allowing 51.6 per game.
The Roadrunners are 2-1 and have defeated a pair of Southland Conference opponents in their last two games. Kamra King and Niaga Mitchell-Cole are both averaging over 12.0 points per game. Tesha Smith and Akunna Elonu each average 7.3 rebounds per game. They are outscoring their opponents by 8.3 points per game.
