SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – The University of the Incarnate Word men's basketball team makes the short trip to Trinity University on Monday for a 7 p.m. tip-off.

The Cardinals (1-0) opened their season on Saturday at Northwood University with an 88-72 win.  They had five players score in double figures led by freshman Sam Burmeister (San Antonio/Churchill HS) who had 22 points in his first collegiate game.

UIW will remain on the road later in the week when they travel Huston-Tillotson on Saturday before opening up their home schedule on November 19 against Northwood at 7 p.m.
