Incarnate Word picked up a victory over Midwestern State University yesterday morning on the tennis courts. The win propels the Cardinals to the top of the Lone Star Conference standings.

UIW won two matches in doubles play to gain the advantage heading into singles play.  The Carlos Olvera/Aiden DeLeon and David Ballenger/Luke Trautmann combos both picked up the crucial victories.

On the singles side, the Cardinals got wins from Olvera, Ballenger, Leury Arias and Brandon Davis to secure this 6-3 win. Olvera and Ballenger have yet to lose a singles match all season.

Today's regularly scheduled match against Trinity University has been rescheduled for this upcoming Friday at 3:00 PM. That match will take place at Trinity
