Solomon scored her game-winning goal after following up her own shot on a rebound off the post. On her second attempt she put the ball in the back of the net for the Cardinals (4-5, 4-4).

Heather Kowalik (Boerne/Champion HS) was able to save.
The Belles (5-5-1, 3-3-1) also played well on defense save for their one lapse on Solomon's rebound. They limited the Cardinals to seven shots in the contest and goalkeeper Danielle Edwards notched three saves.
After Solomon's goal, neither team was able to attempt a shot the rest of the match.
The Cardinals are back in action on Friday night at 7:30 against LSC rival Texas A&M-Commerce. The last time the two teams met, the Cards posted a 4-1 victory in Commerce on September 23.
