COOKE'S 21 NOT ENOUGH AGAINST TSU

Junior point guard Katy Cooke scored 21 points (including 6-of-8 from the free throw line and 3-of-6 from the three-point line) on Saturday.

The University of the Incarnate Word women's basketball team lost their first Lone Star Conferfence road game of the 2011-12 season on Saturday, falling 83-64 in Stephenville against Tarleton State University.

UIW out-rebounded the TexAnns, 34-to-28, and hit just one less shot from the floor, but while the Cardinals drained four three-point shots, the home squad dropped 10.

Junior point guard Katy Cooke scored 21 points for Incarnate Word (including 3-of-6 from the three-point line and 6-of-8 from the free throw line) while Ifunanya Mora added 15 points.
