The women's soccer team for University of the Incarnate Word dropped a Lone Star Conference match against Eastern New Mexico University on the Zias' home field Friday afternoon, 4-1, in Portales, NM.

The Cardinals' lone goal came off the foot of Amanda Watkins who scored by banging the shot in off the crossbar in the 86^th minute, spoiling ENMU's shutout bid.

It was her first goal of the season.

UIW is now 4-7-4 overall and 2-7-3 in Lone Star Conference play. The Cardinals will be back in action on Sunday, facing West Texas A&M in Canyon at 1:30 p.m.
