University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

Dalton Meyer was hired as Director of Player Personnel in December 2025 after serving in multiple coaching and recruiting roles throughout his career.

Prior to joining the personnel department, Meyer served as Assistant Tight Ends/Running Backs Coach and Assistant Director of Football Operations at the University of the Incarnate Word during the 2025 season. Before returning to UIW, he coached Tight Ends and served as Assistant Recruiting Coordinator at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2024 after working as an Offensive Line Graduate Assistant at Sam Houston State University in 2023.

As a student-athlete, Meyer was a member of the Sam Houston football program from 2018-2022, helping the Bearkats capture the 2020 FCS National Championship and two Southland Conference championships. He transferred to the University of the Incarnate Word in 2023 during Head Coach Clint Killough’s first season, contributing to a team that finished with a 9-2 overall record.

A native of Alvin, Texas, Meyer earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Film from Sam Houston State in 2022 and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Communication at the University of the Incarnate Word.
