University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

Christian Johnson came to the University of the Incarnate Word in September 2025, becoming the new head coach of the Cardinal dance program.

Johnson previously served as the CEO of Chrissy Rae's Dance Academy, which in 2023 earned the Studio Spirit Award, which is given to the studio that displays exceptional enthusiasm, positivity and teamwork.

She earned a bachelor's  degree in kinesiology and both a bachelor's and master's in communications from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
