Biography
2012 (Sophomore): Flores sat out the 2011 season with an injury, but returned to the team in 2012. She played in 15 games and received eight starts at forward. She scored her only goal of the season in a 3-0 win over Texas Woman's. She converted a critical penalty kick in a shootout win over Angelo State in the Lone Star Conference semifinals.
2010 (Freshman): Flores was a strong playmaker off the bench finishing with three assists, the second best mark on the squad. She picked up her first career point with an assist in a 3-3 tie at UT-Permian Basin. She scored the game-winning goal against Southwestern Oklahoma when she knocked in a loose ball in front of the net. Flores added assists in wins over Eastern New Mexico and at East Central.
High School: Flores played soccer, volleyball, basketball and track at Harlingen South High School. She was named the soccer team’s Offensive Player of the Year in 2009. Her club team won the state title in her junior year.
Personal: Flores is the daughter of Jaime and Rosie Flores and is studying rehabilitative sciences. Her sister, Lianah, played soccer at Incarnate Word and she has two brothers, Beto and Isaac. She was born on October 14, 1991 and is a member of the Physical Therapy Club and The Fire, a catholic praise and worship organization.
