2013 (Junior): Tipton started in nine games for the Cardinals and came off the bench to play in all 19 contests. She contributed to a total of seven shut outs on the year and and a season high game winning streak of four games. She played a total of 58 minutes in a game that saw the Cardinals hand a heavy 7-1 defeat to Texas Southern, the highest number of goals scored in one game for the Cardinals. She played 90 minutes and pushed forward to attempt two shots in a 6-1 win over UT-Permian Basin.  She was named onto the Southland Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2012 (Sophomore): Tipton started all 15 games she played, but missed three games on the season. She played every minute of the game in 10 contests. In the final 10 games she appeared in the team did not allow more than one goal and posted a 0.60 goals against average.She was named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2011 (Freshman): Tipton started 16 of the team’s 17 games as a true freshman. She was part of a defensive unit that posted a 1.48 GAA and registered four shutouts. She was named to the LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

High School: Tipton was a member of the Olympic Development Program in the state of Washington and she played scholastically at Woodway High School. She was a part of the Emerald City Football Club that won eight straight state championships and one regional title.

Personal: Tipton is the daughter of Dennis and Martha Karl and Marc Tipton and is studying communication/media studies. She has two brothers; DJ Karl and Marc Tipton, and a sister, Aliah Karl. She was born on December 2, 1992 and is a member of Alpha Lamba Delta Honors society and the Toast Masters Club. Her father, Marc, was a running back at the University of Washington.
