2014 (Junior): Kelly tied for the team lead in scoring for the Cardinals in 2014, posting a total of six goals and three assists in 18 games. Sharing the responsibility of the lone striker, Kelly became one of the Cardinals leading offensive players. In a big win against CSU Bakersfield he assisted on UIW's first goal and scored the golden goal in the third minute of over time to take the match, 2-1. Nearly two-thirds of his shot attempts were on goal. He scored in six of eight games at one stretch before an injury slowed him down for a few weeks. He was named onto the All-Western Athletic Conference second team for his performances. Off the field, Kelly posted an exceptional academic record and he was named onto the 2014 Capital One Academic All-America® Division I men's soccer third team and Academic All-District VII first team and also on to the WAC All-Academic Team.

2013 (Sophomore): Kelly appeared in 15 games and made two starts for the Cardinals. He played a season high 55 minutes and attempted three shots at UC Riverside. Kelly tallied his first goal of the season in a 4-1 win at Georgia State. He added another goal at Nebraska-Omaha in a 2-1 loss on the final day of the season. He was a Capital One Academic All-District VII First Team selection.
2012 (Freshman): Kelly showed his potential as a scorer playing in 18 games and making five starts at forward. He had an assist and fired seven shots in a 3-2 loss at Colorado Mines. He scored his first career goal and had an assist in a 4-2 win at Oklahoma Christian. He scored goals in back-to-back wins against Southern Nazarene and at #17 West Texas A&M. He finished the year with three goals and three assists. He was named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
High School: Kelly played soccer at Salpointe Catholic High School and led them to the state semifinals as a senior by scoring two goals in the quarterfinal game. He was placed into the Real Salt Lake Development Academy in Casa Grande, AZ, the first of its kind for the MLS. As a sophomore, he led Salpointe Catholic in scoring, earned honorable mention All-Arizona Star honors and led the team to a #1 seed in the state 5A tournament.
Personal: Kelly is the son of Tim and Sylvie Kelly and is studying engineering. He has a brother, Danny, who also plays college soccer. He was born on July 18, 1994. He is a UIW Math Lab employee.
