University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2018: Amaechi competed in the combined events in her first year with the Cardinals. She recorded 3100 points in the pentathlon indoors.  She totaled  a season-high of 4341 points in the heptathlon at the outdoor conference championships to finish fourteenth. She finished eleventh in the long jump with a personal best leap of 18'10.75"

High School: Amaechi earned the bronze in the high jump at the San Antonio North East Invitational with a leap of 4'10". In the triple jump, she set a PR at the same invitational with a leap of 37'0".  She posted back-to-back first place finishes in the long jump and she also finished first overall in the pole vault. Her personal records include: 5'2" high jump, 18'1.5" long jump, 37'0" triple jump, and 11'6" pole vault.
