Biography
High School: Marrone was a three-year letter winner in cross country and track and lettered once in soccer. She was selected the Freshman MVP for track. Marrone was a 2016 area qualifier in the 1600 M with a time of 5:14. She was the JV MVP in cross country as a freshman and was named academic all-district for three years. As MVP for Varsity cross country and track in her junior year, Marrone qualified for both the 1600 and 3200 meter races for area, was runner-up in the 1600m in the area, and won the 1600m and 3200m in districts. As a senior, she was a state cross country qualifier, winning the District 13-6A championship with a PR time of 19:37. In the classroom, she earned the Academic Achievement award all four years, and was an Academy Ambassador for the health science academy. As a senior, she was named to both the all-state cross country and all-state track academic teams. She was a member of National Honor Society, President of National English Honor Society, and participated in Mobile Loaves and Fishes for 5 years in her community.
Personal: The daughter of Richard and Lisa, Marrone is majoring in biology at UIW. She has two sisters, Stephanie and Rose, and one brother, Ben. Her father played lacrosse and soccer at Clarkson University, while her brother competed in lacrosse at Goucher College. She was born June 16, in Austin, Texas.
