University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2013 (Freshman):  Edohoukwa had a strong freshman campaign in the jumps while also competing as a sprinter.  She eclipsed 18-0 on five occasions in the long jump and posted the third best triple jump in school history with a leap of 36-9.5.  She showed dramatic improvement in the long jump between the indoor and outdoor seasons.

High School:  Edohoukwa was on the basketball and track teams at Centennial High School.  She earned All-State honors and was the most valuable field athlete for her team.  She was on a pair of school record setting relay teams, the 4x100 (48.12) and 4x200 (1:40).  She was a two-time All-State performer in the long jump and was also All-State in the 4x200-meter relay as a junior.

Personal:  Edohoukwa is the daughter of Harry and Patience Edohoukwa and is studying pre-med.  She has five siblings, including a twin sister, Elizabeth, who is also on the UIW track team.  Three other siblings have played collegiate athletics.  She was born on December 4, 1993.
