Connor Boushon joined UIW as an assistant cross country coach and distance coach for track in the summer of 2015. The Madison, Wisconsin native is a former track and cross country runner at Edgewood College where he received a degree in English in 2012. He was a four-time first team All-Northern Athletic Conference performer in cross country and led the team to its first conference title in 2009. On the track, his specialty was the steeplechase and he was the conference champion in the event in 2009. He was also a two-time conference champion in the distance medley relay.
After graduating from Edgewood, he coached at McFarland High School where he was an assistant for the cross country and track programs. The boys and girls cross country teams were each Rock Valley Conference champions in 2014 with the girls taking second at the State meet and the boys taking sixth. He has also been a project manager at Epic Systems Corporation and a lab assistant/sales associate at Midwest Hop and Beer Analysis since graduating from college.
