Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll

2014-15 (Junior):  Strahl started in about 50 percent of matches for the Cardinals.  The majority of her singles and doubles wins came during the fall tournament schedule.  She was named to the Southland Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2013-14 (Sophomore):  Strahl rotated in singles between No. 3, 4 and 5 throughout the season.  She opened the year with three consecutive victories, each in straight sets.  She finished the season, 9-18 in singles play.  Her lone Southland Conference win came at Oral Roberts.  She played at No. 2 and 3 in doubles and teamed with Kelsey Reblin for the majority of the season.  She was 6-17 overall.  She was named to the SLC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2012-13 (Freshman):  Strahl earned the Lone Star Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week after leading the Cardinals to an upset victory at #18 Cameron to close out the regular season.  She won at No. 4 singles 6-0, 6-3 and then teamed with Jennifer Betancourt to win their doubles match, 8-4.  She went 13-9 in singles play, including a 3-0 mark at No. 2 singles, but played mostly at No. 4 singles.  She went 2-2 in three set matches.  She was a stalwart at No. 3 doubles posting an overall record of 15-7, the best on the team.  She was named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

High School:  Strahl played tennis at Churchill High School in San Antonio.  She was a State qualifier in singles play in 2011.  She was a district and regional champion in mixed doubles as a senior.  Her mixed doubles team made it all the was to the State finals.  She led the team to a pair of district titles and three regional semifinal appearances.

Personal:  Strahl is the daughter of John and Deanna Strahl and is a psychology major.  She was two brothers, John and Wes. She was born on July 9, 1993.  She volunteers at the Blossom Tennis Center with the Quick Start program to help teach 4-8 year-olds tennis.
