2023-24 (Senior): Sofia, compiled an impressive overall record of 10-10, 5-3 in conference play this spring. She played at the No. 1 doubles spot with partner Isid Hernandez and posted a massive 12-1 record, going 7-1 in conference play. The pair were on a 9-match win streak and won 11 of their last 12 doubles matches. Sofia helped the team to five SLC victories, clinching on Senior Day against Lamar and also winning her match against McNeese.  Sofia ended the regular season posting a 4-0 record with wins in both singles and doubles against Lamar and McNeese. She was named to the SLC All-Academic First Team and earned Southland First Team Doubles honors. 

2022-23 (Junior): Did not play. 

2021-22 (Sophomore): Led the team with a 16-5 individual record with a 3-2 Southland Conference record...partnered with Taylor Parkinson (4-8), Lauren Fulgenzi (4-1) and Gargi Pawar (1-1) to post a 9-10 doubles record... was crowned the Southland Conference Newcomer of the Year. 

Previous:
Played at the No. 1 and No. 2 singles and doubles positions at St. Bonaventure...led the Bonnies with a 6-6 singles record and had five wins on doubles action...earned Atlantic 10 All-Conference second-team honors as a freshman...named 2021 SBU International Athlete of the Year.

Personal: The daughter of John Franco and Luz Elena Salcedo...has three siblings, Maria, Juliana and Sebastian...reached a career-high ITF ranking of 1,121...played on the French national team in 2018...majoring in biology with a political science minor.
