Alyson Tshuma

Alyson Tshuma was named the head coach of the University of the Incarnate Word artistic swimming program on September 16, 2022.

Tshuma followed up her stellar first season by bringing home UIW's first National Title in school history. After finishing in second place at the MPSF Conference Championship, the Cardinals took home the USA Artistic Swimming Collegiate Championship held in Lewisville, Texas. Following the monumental win, Tshuma was named Collegiate Coach of the Year.

In her first season as head coach she led the team to a second-place finish at the MPSF Conference Championship. The team also finished third at the U.S. Collegiate Championships. Six student-athletes earned All-Conference honors, and 12 earned All-Academic honors. 

Playing Days

A native of Las Vegas, Nevada, Haylor attended Lindenwood University in Saint Charles, Missouri. During her four years at Lindenwood Haylor helped contribute to four straight U.S National Titles. 

Personal

Tshuma graduated with a BA from Lindenwood University. She later received an MA from Arizona State University.
