Biography
2021 (Freshman): Competed at all tournaments in 2020/21… Finished in the top five in 100yd freestyle three times… Best finish was second overall in the 50yd freestyle At the UIW-North Texas Invitational on January 15th.
High School: Marshall High School Women’s swimming MVP (2015-2020). Record holder in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle. Captain of the swim team (2020).
2016- 9th in the 100 free at MN State
2017-7th in the 50 free and 8th in the 100 free at State
2018- 7th in the 50 free and 8th in the 100 free at State
2019- 2nd in the 50 free and 5th in the 100 free at State
Personal: Parents are Roger and Latiefa Bentz. She has two siblings, Adrian, 25, and Teagan, 23. Majoring in Environmental Science.
Why she chose UIW: I chose to come to UIW for the chance to get a good, faith-centered education and swim for a great team. I came all the way from Minnesota to be closer to my extended family and to branch out from the small town I am from.
