University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2013-14 (Junior):  Morgen was one of the top swimmers on the team in UIW's first year at Division I.  She won the 100-yard breaststroke at three different meets and was a 200 breaststroke champion at two meets including the UIW Christmas Invitational.  She finished sixth in the CCSA in the 100 breast with a time of 1:03.74 which was one-hundredth of a second off the school record.  In the 200 breast she finished eighth in the conference and swam the second fastest time in school history in the prelims.  She swam on the fifth place 200 free relay, fourth place 200 medley relay and fourth place 400 medley relay teams at the CCSA meet.

2012-13 (Sophomore): Morgen was a CSCAA Honorable Mention All-American in the 400 medley relay. She was the team's #2 breaststroker swimming the third best 100 breaststroke and fourth best 200 breaststroke in school history. She swam in both events at the national championship meet. She finished second in the 100 breaststroke at the Drury and UC-San Diego meets and she won the 200 breaststroke at the UIW January Meet in a season best 2:21.86.

2011-12 (Freshman): Morgen was named a CSCAA Scholar All-American. She earned Honorable Mention All-America and Second Team All-RMAC honors in the 400-yard medley relay. She won the 100-yard breaststroke at the Drury Invitational, but had her season best swim at the RMAC Championships with a time of 1:05.94. She had a pair of second place performances in the 200-yard breaststroke at the UIW Invitaitonal and Henderson State Invitational.

High School: Morgen was on the swimming, basketball, volleyball and soccer teams at Johnson High School. She swam in the state meet as a freshman and senior in both the 200-yard medley and 200-yard freestyle relays.

Personal: Morgen is the daughter of Max and Lisa Morgen and is studying nutrition and dietetics. She has a brother, Max. She was born on October 7, 1992.
