University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2014-15 (Junior):  Heussner competed in the individual and relay freestyle events. She posted a time of 57.19 in the 100-meter relay at Houston and 58.10 in the 100-meter individual at Rice. She was named to the CCSA All-Academic Team.  

2013-14 (Sophomore):  Heussner swam her best at the big meets for the Cardinals, including some personal records at the CCSA championships.  She improved upon her times from her freshman year in all her events.  She won the 50-yard freestyle against Southwestern with a time of 25.71 and was third in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:12.98.  She was named to the CCSA All-Academic Team.

2012-13 (Freshman):  Heussner earned RMAC Third Team honors in the 200 freestyle relay.  She swam the sprint freestyle and breaststroke events during the season.  She posted her best freestyle times of the season at the RMAC Championships.

High School:  Heussner was on the swim team at Cinco Ranch High School.  She earned All-American honors as a senior.  She was a four-time all-district and three-time all-region performer.  She led the team to four straight district titles and a pair of regional championships.  She was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal:  Heussner is the daughter of John and Julie Heussner and is studying rehabilitative sciences with a minor in psychology.  She has two siblings, Connor and Faith.  Her grandfather and father played football at Baylor.  She was born on September 12, 1993.
