Biography
2014-15 (Sophomore): Escobedo was one of two Cardinals to start in every round for the team. She broke 80 in six rounds with a season best of 1-over par 72 at the UIW Fall Invitational. She ended up in seventh place at the tournament, her top finish of the season. She was eighth at the Jack Brown Memorial Invitational hosted by Texas A&M-International. She posted a stroke average of 83.2 for 25 rounds. She was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2013-14 (Red-Shirt): Escobedo was on the team but did not play in a match. She was named onto the Southland Conference Commissioners Honor Roll.
2012-13 (Freshman): Escobedo played in 20 competitive rounds for the Cardinals in her freshman year and posted a scoring average of 81.7. She had two top-10 finishes on the year at the UIW Tournament, where she finished 3rd and at Texas A&M-International Tournament, where she finsihed 4th. She secured a 29th place finish at the Lone Star Conference Championships and she was named on the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
High School: Escobedo played golf at Holy Trinity Catholic School and was an Academic All-State in 2011 and 2012. She helped lead her team to the State Championships in 2009, 10, 11 and 12 and was the individual State Champion in 2010.
Personal: Escobedo is the daughter of John and Juanita Escobedo and has a brother, John. She is studying business administration and was born on January 6, 1994.
