Biography
2011-12 (Junior): De Sa Pereira played in 17 competitive rounds for the Cardinals and posted a 78.88 scoring average. She finished in 7th place in the Lone Star Conference Championships. She had three top-10 finishes on the year including a second place and a fourth place finish at the two UIW tournaments.
2010-11 (Sophomore): De Sa Pereira played in all 22 competitive rounds for the Cardinals in her freshman year and posted a 75.8 scoring average, first in the team. She had seven top-10 finishes on the year and finished in 5th place at the Lone Star Conference Championships. She was the only player on the team to be invited to the regional tournament. She had six top-5 finishes on the season and won the St. Edward’s and Texas A&M-Commerce tournaments.
2009-10 (Freshman): De Sa Pereira did not play during the Fall, but quickly became the top player on the team in the Spring. She appeared five tournaments and led the team to a win at the Jack Brown Memorial when she was the individual medalist with a 76. She followed that with a win at the Pepsi-Lion Invitational while leading the team to a second place finish. She was eighth at the Heartland Championships and the team took second place overall.
High School: De Sa Pereira went to Kaplan Prep School and was a member of the National Honors Society.
Personal: De Sa Pereira is the daughter of Paula and Mario De Sa Pereira. Her father was a semi-professional soccer player when he was 15. She is studying general business and was born in Switzerland in July 23, 1990.
