- Full name is Estefania Hurtado Restrepo, but goes by Hurtado
- Started playing golf at two years old
- Born on Dec. 8, 2001, in Medellin, Columbia
- Parents are Marco Antonio Hurtado and Luisa Fernanda Restrepo
- Has one sister, Paula Andrea Hurtado
- Sister (Paula) played for the FIU women’s golf team and is now a professional golfer on the Symetra Tour; Paula has also played in the LET (Ladies European Tour)
- Chose to attend UIW because “One of the things I had always dreamed about is playing college golf, but I wanted to be sure to be in a place I like. UIW’s infrastructure is just what I had imagined my dream campus would be like. When I visited, Coach Allison and my teammates were so welcoming. Also, the biology program which is my intended major is incredibly good. When I got there, I just felt it, I knew it was the place where I want to study at.”
