Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll

2015 (Junior):  Mendoza played sparingly for the Cardinals.  She recorded her only hit of the season against Texas Southern.  She was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Previous: Mendoza played at Arizona Western College for two years.  She hit .331 with a .488 slugging percentage, seven homers and 16 stolen bases as a sophomore.  Her team were league and conference champions in 2014 and ranked as high as #1 in the nation.  They advanced to the NJCAA National Quarterfinals.

High School:  Mendoza was a member of the softball, basketball and volleyball teams at Washington Union High School.  She was a city and county All-Star selection in 2012 in basketball and softball.  She was a three-time all-district selection in softball.  She made the all-district basketball defensive team three times.  Led her team to its first Valley championship in 2010. 

Personal:  Mendoza is the daughter of Rene and Angela Mendoza and is studying biology.  She has three siblings; Rene, Alyss, and Marc. Mendoza was born on December 2, 1993.
