University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2026 (Senior): Made 19 appearances with 11 starts in the pitching circle. Threw 52-and-two-thirds innings, putting together a 6-5 record and a 3.85 ERA. Allowed 44 hits, 39 runs (29 earned) with 29 walks and 41 strikeouts, the second-most on the team. Threw five shutout innings of two-hit ball with seven strikeouts in a win over Bradley on Feb. 6. Had seven more strikeouts in another five-inning shutout, surrendering four hits against Stephen F. Austin on March 21. Didn't allow a run in five of her 19 appearances. 

2025 (Junior): Appeared in 20 games for the Cardinals this season, finishing with a 9-6 record and a 3.11 ERA which is sixth best in the Southland Conference.

2024 (Sophomore): Appeared in 28 games with 18 starts. Struck out 68 batters, pitched one complete game in 102.2 innings pitched. Finished with an 11-6 record and a 2.52 ERA. 

2023 (Freshman): During her freshman season, Portillo appeared in 17 games with eight starts in the circle. Through 42.2 innings pitched, she struck out 38 batters for a 5.58 ERA.
