2018 (Junior): Appeared in 22 games and started in two...scored 3 runs.

2017: She appeared in 23 games with two starts. She had a 1.000 fielding percentage. She was named to the SLC Commissioner’s Honor Roll with a 3.36 GPA. 

2016: She appeared in 29 games with 13 coming as a starter. She had an .258 on-base percentage. 

High School:  Ruiz was on the softball and powerlifting teams at Gregory-Portland High School.  She earned honorable mention all-district honors each of her first three years in softball.  She hit .410 with a .474 on-base percentage in her senior season.  She was a State Powerlifting champion in 2014 and finished in fourth place in 2015.  She led the softball team to three playoff appearances.  She was a member of the National Honor Society and she was the Homecoming Queen.

Personal:  Ruiz is the daughter of Pete Ruiz and Evalinda Gonzales and is studying rehabilitative sciences.  She was born on November 20, 1996.
