University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2015 (Freshman):  Hooper started four games at catcher and was a pinch hitter in six others.  She got a base hit in her first career at bat against UT-Arlington.  She was 1-for-4 with two runs, a double and a walk at Prairie View A&M.  She was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

High School: Hooper played at Waxahachie High School for Coach Steve Howell. While playing for WHS, Hooper earned second team all-district honors in 2011 and in 2014. She was first team all-district her sophomore and junior years.  She helped lead her team to four playoff appearances. She was named team captain her senior year.  She was a four-time academic all-district selection and a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Hooper is the daughter of Randy and Kathryn Hooper and is studying psychology. She has one sister, Cristina. Hooper was born on September 14, 1995.
