University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2014 (Junior):  Contreras appeared in seven games and three starts.  She scored a run after walking against Arts & Sciences and got her first career hit against Nicholls.  She drove in a run at Texas Southern.  She was named to the Southland Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2013 (Red-shirt):  Contreras red-shirted her first season at Incarnate Word

High School: Contreras played four years of softball at C.C. Winn High School, where she was named her teams MVP for all four years. She earned first team District honors all fours years and was named the Most Outstanding Pitcher in 2011 and 2012. For three years her team was crowned Bi-District Champions. She was a member of the National Honor Society. 

Personal: Contreras is the daughter of Aide and Martin and has brother, Maximus and sister, Blanca. She is studying communication arts and was born on August 9, 1994.
