Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll

2015 (Freshman):  Guse played in 30 games mostly as a pinch runner.  She scored seven times as a pinch runner.  She stole bases at UTSA and against Lamar.  Her best game came against Prairie View A&M when she entered the game as a pinch runner and stayed in the game.  She went 1-for-1 while scoring two runs and driving in two runs.  She was a member of the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

High School: Guse played at Glenda Dawson High School for coach David McCorkle.  Guse was a three-time first team all-district selection and was second team in a fourth year.  She was her team's MVP as a junior and senior and she was the District 24-4A Defensive Player of the Year as a senior.  She made the Houston All-Star Team.  She led the team to a pair of playoff appearances.  She was on the academic all-district team for four straight years.

Personal: Guse is the daughter of Scott and Maureen Guse and is studying broadcast meteorology. She has four siblings: Jessica, Jordan, Greg and Jenna.  She was born September 13, 1995.  Jordan played softball at Midwestern State and Jenna played softball at Limestone University.  Greg played baseball at McMurray University. Jenna played softball at Limestone University.
