Sarah Prezioso

Prezioso was brought on to Head Coach Joe DiPietro's coaching staff in the summer of '19.

Prezioso comes to the Cardinals following four seasons as an assistant coach at Kean University. In her final season with the Cougars, Prezioso helped guide KU to a 39-8 overall record and a trip to the NCAA Division III Tournament. At the Union Regional of the NCAA Tournament, the Cougars went 2-2 with a 2-0 win and an 8-2 victory over Endicott College.
 
Prior to Kean University, Prezioso served as assistant coach at Rutgers-Newark for two seasons. She helped engineer an upset in 2015 when the Scarlet Raiders stole a game from the No. 20 Cougars in their NJAC doubleheader.
 
Prezioso played for DiPietro at Temple University, where she was the first Owl to reach 200 career hits. She also broke the Atlantic-10 record for runs scored and set Temple records in career home runs (28), stolen bases (32) and the single-season home runs (15). Prezioso played professionally for the Pennsylvania Rebellion of the National Pro Fastpitch league for two seasons (2014-15).
 
A native of Bloomfield, New Jersey, Prezioso started at shortstop for the Bengals of Bloomfield High from 2007-10.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications studies from Temple.
