University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2018 (Sophomore): Appeared in 30 games and started in 19...registered five runs and two hits…posted two home runs, seven RBI and two sacrifice hits.
 
2017: She had 37 appearances with 26 as a starter. She had 34 put outs and 41 assists. She was named to the SLC Commissioner’s Honor Roll with a 3.16 GPA. 

High School: Thomas was a four-year letterwinner in softball and two-year letterwinner in volleyball at Alvin High School. She was the starting first baseman as a freshman and was named Honorable Mention All-District, as her team were the district runner-up, bi-district champions, and an area finalist. She was the starting third baseman her final three seasons, as she earned two more Honorable Mention All-District accolades before earning First Team All-District as a senior. She was also named Texas Sports Writer's Association Honorable Mention as a senior. Her team were the district champions as a sophomore and district runner-up as a junior and senior. In volleyball, she was the starting outside hitter and defensive specialist. Her team were the district champions during junior season and bi-district champions as a senior. She was named Second Team All-District as a junior and Honorable Mention All-District as a senior. During her junior year, Thomas was named to the All-Academic Team. Thomas played for the summer softball team, the Aces Express from 2014-16 for head coach Brian Harris.

Personal: Thomas is the daughter of Jennifer and Gerald Montieth, and Keith and Terra Thomas. She is studying physical therapy at UIW.
