Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll
2015 (Sophomore): Haese became the program's top multi-event athlete and set the school record in the decathlon. He scored a season high 4,222 points in the indoor heptathlon at the University of Houston. He tied his own decathlon school record when he scored 6,055 at Texas State. At the Southland Conference meet, he posted his best marks in the 110-meter hurdles, 400 meters, 1500 meters, high jump and discus en route to a school record 6,296 points. On the final day of the meet, he had his top performances of the season in the open javelin and pole vault events.
2014 (Freshman): Haese was one of a stable of multi-event athletes on the team. His strengths were in the running events and pole vault. He cleared over 14-0 in the pole vault twice during the indoor season and twice outdoors with a season best of 14-6 in Kingsville, TX. He scored 3,924 points in his first indoor heptathlon at the Southland Conference meet. He won the individual javelin at the UTSA Invitational with a throw of 145-7. He set the school record in the decathlon at the SLC meet with 6,055 points. He was named the Southland Commissioner's Honor Roll.
High School: Haese was on the football and track teams at St. Anthony's High School. He was the State Champion in the pole vault as a senior and holds the school record in the decathlon. He was the top scorer on the St. Anthony's track team as a junior and senior.
Personal: Haese is the son of Alfred Haese and is studying kinesiology. He has a brother Eric. He was born on April 4, 1995.
