Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll
2017 (Sophomore): Allen's strong competitiveness in the triple jump secured him a fourth place finish at the the indoor conference championship. He leaped a distance of 49-0.75 to shatter his previous indoor record.
 Allen set a career best mark of 49-1.5 at the Texas State Bobcat Invitational for third place. He went on to finish eighth in the event at the outdoor conference championship.Â
2016 (Freshman): Allen proved to be all business as he opened up his season at the J.D. Martin Invitational with a new school record. He leaped a distance of 47-3.5 to finish second and set a new personal best. Allen's constant improvement allowed him to clinch a seventh place finish with a jump of 48-1.25 at the Southland indoor conference championships. His momentum carried into the outdoor season and he recorded a leap of 49-1.75 to take another triple jump record. Allen capped off a successful season with a new personal record (49-4.25), and seventh place finish at the outdoor conference championships.Â
High School: Allen was a member of the track and football teams at Brackenridge High School. He was a two-time All-Area performer in track. He holds the school record in the triple jump of 46-11.5. He was a three-time first team all-district player in football. He was also an academic all-district selection.
Personal: Allen is the son of Robert Allen, Sr., and Dominique Fitzsimmons and is studying computer information systems. He has four siblings; Patrick, Tiffany, Keisha and Te'Anna. He was born on November 23, 1996.
