Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll

2015 (Junior):  Mora had his best season to date for the Cardinals.  He ran the second fastest time in school history in the indoor mile and the third fastest time in the indoor 3000 meters at the Southland Conference championships.  He clocked a 4:20.16 in the mile and 8:44.04 in the 3000.  During the outdoor season he made the finals of the 1500 meters at the Southland championships with a 3:58.43 in the prelims.  He set the school record in the 5000 meters at the Rice Twilight meet with a time of 14:57.98.  He finished third in the 1500 at the Trinity Tiger Relays with a time of 4:03.60.  He was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2014 (Sophomore):  Mora competed for the Cardinals on the track for the first time as a junior. He battled his brother, Marcos, for the title of top miler on the team.  He edged him out during both the indoor and outdoor seasons.  He ran a converted 4:28.57 in the indoor mile at New Mexico.  During the outdoor season he clocked a 4:01.92 at the Southland Conference championships in the 1500 meters.  He had four top-3 finishes in the event throughout the season.  He ran a time of 15:08.22 in the 5,000-meters at Stephen F. Austin, the third fastest time in the program's history.  He was named to the Southland Commissioner's Honor Roll.

High School: Mora was on the cross country and track teams at Wagner High School. He was a three-time Regional qualifier in both cross country and track. As a junior, he finished as the runner up in the mile at the district meet with a time of 4:26. He helped lead the team to a track Regional championship in 2010.

Personal: Mora is the son of Pete and Charlene Mora and is studying business management. He has a sister, Gina, a twin brother, Marcos and another brother, Moises. He was born on November 11, 1992.
