Biography

Brown played two years of basketball for the Cardinals before joining the track team as a senior.

2012-13 (Senior):  Brown earned Lone Star Conference All-Tournament Team honors after averaging 20.5 points and 13.5 rebounds per game in the conference tournament.  He was an Honorable Mention all-LSC choice for the year.

2011-12 (Junior):  Brown was the only player on the team to start all 27 games.  He contributed 8.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and a team high 3.3 assists per game.  He also added 2.0 steals per game.  He poured in 20 points in a loss at St. Mary's.  He had 15 points, 12 rebounds and four assists in a two-point loss to West Texas A&M.  He pulled down 10 rebounds and scored nine points in a blowout win over Angelo State.  He closed out the season with 10 points, five assists and four steals in a loss to Cameron in the LSC Tournament.

Previous:  Brown played two seasons at Jacksonville College.  As a sophomore, he averaged 9.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.8 steals per game.

High School:  Brown played basketball at Judson High School under head coach Mike Wacker.

Personal:  Brown is the son of Leonard Hoskin and Roselyn Brown and is studying kinesiology.  He has a brother, Leonard Brown, who played basketball at Stephen F. Austin and a sister, Len Nique Brown, who played basketball at North Carolina State.  He was born on January 4, 1988.
