Biography
High School: Lewis was a two-sport athlete for the Buffaloes, competing in football and track. He helped the 4x200m relay team set the school record en route to winning the UIL 6A regional championship. He was a TAPPS 2A silver medalist in the 100m and won bronze in the 200m in 2015. He was a state competitor with the 4x100 and 4x200 relays in 2016 and was a back-to-back regional qualifier in both relays. He recorded a PR time of 11.22 in the 100m at the UIL 27-6A meet. Lewis earned academic all-state honors in both football and track and was a three-time academic all-district performer in both sports. He was a member of the National Honor Society and was vice president for both Fellowship of Christian Athletes and DECA.

Personal: The son of Kirk and Sonnette, Kyle is majoring in business management with a minor in communications. His cousin is Maya Moore, who played basketball at UConn, is an Olympian, and plays pro in the WNBA.
