University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2014 (Freshman):  Carnet was one of the team's multi-event athletes and did well as a true freshman.  He broke the old record in the decathlon at the UIW Invitational with a total of 5,847 points.  He was a consistent performer in all the disciplines, but was the top javelin thrower on the team with a toss of 153-5.  During the indoor season he came up two points shy of the school record with his 4,293-point performance at the Southland Conference Championships.

High School:  Carnett was home-schooled, but still competed in track.

Personal:  Carnett is the son of Mike and Sharon Carnett and is studying rehabilitative sciences.  He was born on July 13, 1994
