2026 Men's Track and Field Roster
Biography
2026 (Sophomore): Became a program record holder and all-conference finisher in the 3,000-meter steeplechase during the outdoor season. Butler ran a program-record time of 8:58.78 at the Bryan Clay Invitational. He then turned around and finished second in the event at the Texas Invitational (9:16.62) and the Southland Conference Outdoor Championships (9:07.82), concluding his sophomore season on the All-SLC Second Team.
2025 (Freshman): Competed in multiple distance events with his most success coming in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. He finished second in the event at the Texas Invitational in 9:08.06 adn fourth at the Southland Conference Outdoor Championships in 9:12.15.
